Session Description: CPD Professionals often wear many hats and juggle a multitude of tasks that can be incredibly overwhelming. This is true in all sizes of CPD/CME offices with varying resources. Education programs and accreditation efforts are complex projects that rely on many internal and external stakeholders, consist of tasks with subtasks, have varying deadlines, and require transparency to team members to ensure timely delivery.

Due to limited bandwidth, lack of resources, and lack of project management (PM) training, CPD professionals struggle to manage the often-overwhelming elements in a project including individual tasks, progress, and status of deliverables. CPD staff have limited time to evaluate the plethora of project management tools available, which might be a good fit for their organizations, and how to use them.

Identify key components of PM and disclosure management tools.
Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of various PM tools to determine usability for individual organizational needs.
Identify project management tools that would enhance your program’s workflow.
