Funding Opportunities Through Foundation Grants (Level 2)

CME/CPD providers face ongoing challenges in securing sufficient funding to support the development and delivery of impactful educational programs. Limited financial resources often hinder their ability to offer CPD initiatives. This interactive presentation addresses funding obstacles faced by CME/CPD providers by exploring foundation grants. By understanding the unique attributes of foundation grants and leveraging them effectively, CME/CPD providers can potentially open new revenue sources and find partners to improve patient care and community health.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define grant readiness, and why it is an essential and often overlooked component of foundation grantseeking
  • Describe typical components of foundation grant requests and how they align or differ from grants from ineligible companies and foundations.
  • Practice evaluating grant readiness skills by reviewing hypothetical grant opportunities
