Heard It On The Wire: Problems and Solutions from the Alliance List Serve (Level 3)

Session Description: The listserv has been active this year and we’d like to continue that momentum and discussion at the annual conference. We propose a session of presentations with roundtable discussions that covers the following areas: (1) Volunteer Burnout, (2) Working Remote, (3) eLearning Strategies (including subscription-based models and licensing content), and (4) AI in Development/Faculty Management.

Although all facilitators are from the HPMS Section, this session should be applicable to all CPD offices that plan and implement education.

The presenters have hosted several virtual roundtables over the past year based on comments and challenges expressed in the listserv. This session will begin with a 15-minute overview of the information discussed during those virtual roundtables and finish with 45 minutes dedicated to roundtable discussion of unique challenges for each learner. Each topic will be facilitated by a presenter for a more in depth discussion on unique challenges, how each facilitator has addressed these topics in their own organizations, and advice on next steps or resources.

Although all facilitators are from the HPMS Section, this session should be applicable to all CPD offices that plan and implement education.
