Session Description: More than 168,000 PAs are practicing medicine throughout the healthcare system in all specialties and settings. If they aren't already participating in your CE activities, they could be! This session will provide an update on PA demographic and practice trends with the goal of helping you more effectively integrate PAs into your interprofessional CE activities. We will review changes in laws and regulations that govern what PAs can do in practice, highlight resources on the profession you can use in planning your education, and share tips on recruiting PAs to participate in your activities as planners, faculty and learners. We will also provide an update on AAPA CME Accreditation and share the top 5 issues we are seeing in our role as an accreditor.
