Session Description: Have you heard the buzz word “Tweetorial” over the past few years and found yourself confused about what they are? Or perhaps you’re familiar but you haven’t the faintest idea how to create one yourself? Either way, you’re not alone and that’s where we step in to help. Through years of practice and loads of trial and error, the sessions speakers have become experts in generating CPD content in the Tweetorial format.
During this session, the presenters will provide instruction directly related to the mechanics of Tweetorials and how to build this unique format for CPD programs.
This didactic portion of the session will focus on providing learners with key information to Iidentify and understand the building blocks of a Tweetorial, learn best practices in development of Tweetorials, and avoid common errors and challenges.
Hands-on small-group work will allow learners to gain practical, hands-on experience building a Tweetorial and brainstorm opportunities for conversion of content from Twitter to other platforms such as Threads, or vice versa.
The session will be structured with an even distribution of didactic lecture and hands-on work and will rely on multiple room proctors to assist and support each small group. Twitter and other supportive technologies will be used during the session and learners are encouraged to bring their computer to this session.
We get it; small-group. workshops can often feel “cringey” but the truth is, Tweeting can feel kind of scary (yes, even for the experts). If you’re interested in Tweetorials, need some hand-holding and/or want to share your ideas, you have more reason than not to join this open, supportive group session to alleviate your fears and leave with a skill that you can apply to your CPD program right away
