Encore Presentation: Think "Thank": How to Dive Beneath the Outcomes Surface to Ascertain Relevant Insights for Master Storytelling (Level 3)

Session Description: As our community continues to become versed in the science and delivery of outcomes, we have more to learn regarding the collection and interpretation of structured and unstructured insights that, if unlocked, would complement the narrative and elevate the impact of the work we do. It may not always be enough to have outcomes data. What should unite us is the ability to define, manage, and track patterns and observations over time to reveal the elements crucial to capture the imagination of the stakeholders we present to. This encore standing-room-only presentation from 2023 has been designed to help attendees effectively extract the right insights that are often overlooked or underutilized. Additionally, we will provide proven practices for mastering Storyteller excellence—more effectively articulating the impact of educational strategy and outcomes on clinical performance.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discern the connections and differences between resulting outcomes and data insights that should or should not be used in the overall summary of a learning initiative
  • Identify the appropriate data trends to highlight what is relatable to all stakeholders, and therefore making a lasting impression
  • Utilize storytelling, freeform, visualization, and other techniques that amplify the narrative effect
