Ms. Cortright is the Deputy Chief Officer, Learning and Educational Research at the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Cortright has been with ASCP for 17 years and is responsible for overseeing the development and production of 900+ continuing professional development activities including live events, online activities, and quality improvement assessment programs in all areas of pathology and laboratory medicine for pathologists, residents, and medical laboratory professionals. She also oversees Accreditation and Compliance and the departments of Instructional Design, Live Learning Programs and Educational Innovation, Assessment and Textbook Fulfilment, and Meeting Services. Ms. Cortright has held numerous national positions, including: Member, President-Elect, President, and Past President, Illinois Alliance for Continuing Medical Education, Secretary, Co-Chair, Council for Medical Specialties Continuing Professional Development Professional Peer Group, and Member, Alliance for Continuing Education in the Healthcare Professionals Quality and Innovation Summit Program Planning Committee and Education Committee. She holds an M.Ed. in Education from Loyola University Chicago.
