Juliette Carney is a Senior Professional Development Consultant at The Permanente Medical Group in Northern California (Department of Physician Education and Development). Her focus is on the architecture of clinical education and faculty development. She specializes in public speaking, presentation consulting and learner engagement. Over her 23 years with TPMG, other roles included GSAA Senior Consultant of Employee, Physician and Executive Wellness where she specialized in physician professional well-being. She authored and delivered the GSAA AFM Physician Mentor Training Series and launched the GSAA Physician Mentor Lab while also providing individual observation and coaching for physician mentors in AFM. As a frequent a guest speaker she covered a wide range of topics such as effective communication, habit formation, emotional agility, energy management and much more. Juliette holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from UC Davis and a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from California State University.
