Session Description: As a CPD professional, your ability to fund, create or deliver high-quality CME/CE is contingent on how much your influence inspires and motivates those around you. The best communicators understand that exhibiting a strong presence goes well beyond the content of their message. Communicating it authentically with clarity & inspiration is equally important to ensure your message has an impact. Whether that be while coaching faculty to meet learning objectives, communicating the value of your CE program to your internal or external stakeholders, presenting content to learners, or any of the other times you need your message to be heard, elevated communication skills can improve your ability to drive impact in CME/CE.
This highly interactive workshop will stretch you to think and communicate differently. Four practical, easy-to-use communication techniques will be introduced and demonstrated. Then, since we know that doing has more impact than listening, you should come prepared to interact and practice the techniques with your fellow attendees. The hands-on constructive exercises will deepen your self-awareness and practical understanding for your communication style and give you easy-to-use communication tools that you can apply to enact both presence and influence. The handout from the session will be an on-the-job tool you can refer to once you return to work after the conference.
