Cherilyn Heggen, PhD, Senior Vice President, Scientific Affairs, PRIME Education. Dr Heggen leads PRIME’s team of grant writers and clinical leads, overseeing planning, development, evaluation, and clinical interpretation of integrated educational initiatives for health care teams, providers, payers, patients, and health systems. In addition to her company leadership role, she guides departments and teams in achieving scientific accuracy in the development of innovative formats and designs that incorporate contemporary principles of adult learning for health care teams and patients and leads publication and presentation efforts of PRIME’s innovative findings in peer-reviewed scientific journals and at international conferences.

In her role, Dr Heggen regularly engages with subject matter experts and external partners to plan and develop cutting-edge, high-quality educational content and research methodologies to impact transformative behavioral change across health sectors. Throughout her academic, research, and leadership career, Dr Heggen has presented her scientific and research work at national and international conferences, where she has received numerous awards, and her work has been published in over 20 peer-reviewed high impact scientific journals and conferences.
