Jacqueline Busterna, Esq currently is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Director at Coverys, a professional liability carrier. Prior to moving into this role at Coverys she was a Senior Claim Consultant then rose to the level of Claim Manager with oversight of MPL claims in several Northeast States including New York and Pennsylvania. Before joining Coverys in 2009, she worked at Medical Protective as a File Manager. Jacqueline commenced her career within the medical malpractice field as an Attorney Examiner at Pennsylvania’s Medical Care Availability and Reduction of Error Fund, (MCARE, formerly referred to as the CAT Fund). Subsequently, she worked as a Litigation Specialist for Nationwide Mutual Insurance.
Jacqueline Busterna is a graduate of both Southgate College in London, and the University of North London, England where she obtained her law degree with honors, (LLB). In 1996 she graduated from the Dickinson School of Law, Carlisle PA; with a Masters in Comparative Law, (LLM). In 1997 Jacqueline was admitted to the New York Bar and is currently an attorney in good standing.
